About us

We turn the web’s mess into clean, usable data.

Tessera began as an internal tool for a team tired of copy-pasting tables out of websites. The name comes from the Latin tessera — a single tile in a mosaic. Each clean row is a tile; you compose the picture.

What we do

You describe what you need in plain language and point us at a site. Tessera scrapes, reads and structures the content, then hands back a clean CSV or Markdown file you review and keep — with nothing to install.

Why we built it

The data people need is usually right there on a page — just not in a usable shape. We wanted the gap between “I can see it” and “I have it as a file” to take seconds, not an afternoon.

What we hold to

You sign off
Nothing is final until you’ve reviewed it. Every output is yours to amend or reject.
Public only
We scrape public pages only — never anything behind logins or paywalls.
Clean by default
Structured, deduplicated, ready to use — not a raw dump you have to clean up.
TesseraScrapes public pages only. No logins or paywalls.
